Hi,
I tried to update from version 2026.6.0 to 2026.9.0 on a Raspberry Pi 4, but it's not possible.
I've this error in the logs :

Can you correct this?

This error stems from an attempt by Home Assistant to install the Python package pymupdf (version 1.28.2), which fails during compilation. Here is the chain of events:
-
No precompiled wheel available
For the aarch64 architecture (your HAOS is running on a 64-bit Raspberry Pi) with Python 3.14, there is no ready-to-use binary wheel for pymupdf 1.28.2 on the index being used (wheels.home-assistant.io). Consequently, pip/uv is forced to compile the package from source.
-
Compilation fails: no C compiler
The log clearly shows this at the end:
setup.py:802: build_mupdf_unix(): Running: cc --version
setup.py:802: build_mupdf_unix(): /bin/sh: cc: not found
The Home Assistant OS container does not include a C compiler (cc, gcc, etc.), which is normal—it is a minimalist environment not designed for compiling native packages. Furthermore, pymupdf bundles the entire MuPDF source code (downloaded separately, as indicated by the .tar.gz file), making it a heavy C/C++ compilation task that is impossible without a toolchain.
