What

Shows a notice when a newer version of the CLI is published on npm:

› Warning: A new version of the Internxt CLI is available: 1.6.10 → 1.7.0.
› Update with: npm install -g @internxt/cli@latest

In Docker the notice says docker pull internxt/webdav:latest in plain text instead.

Why

Many users run very old versions of the CLI and have no way of knowing a newer one exists.

How

  • Plugin: @oclif/plugin-warn-if-update-available 4.0.5, pinned and configured in package.json.
  • When it checks: once a day (timeoutInDays: 1; the plugin's default is 60 days). The npm lookup runs in a detached background process and the result is cached in ~/.cache/internxt-cli/version, so commands aren't slowed down.
  • When it shows: at most every 6 hours, on stderr, so --json output stays clean.
  • Docker: the Dockerfile sets INXT_RUNTIME=docker, which the message template uses to pick the Docker text.

Adds @oclif/plugin-warn-if-update-available. It checks npm once a day
in the background and shows a notice at most every 6 hours.
