Revalidate the upload file-size limit through FileSizeLimitModule before rejecting a file on the virtual drive (write, temporal upload) and on backup upload/update.
Persist fileSizeLimitRevalidatedAt per user and connect the core adapter to the stored limit, the last check time, and a single GET /files/limits aborted after 10 seconds.
On a local size rejection or a backend FILE_TOO_BIG, show the existing warning, remember the path, and revalidate the limit immediately.
After Upgrade, poll the limit once a minute for up to 15 minutes. Stop that poll and clear remembered paths on logout.
When the stored limit increases, retry rejected virtual-drive temporals and start one backup pass. Empty backup files are skipped before the core check.
Cover the adapter, the limit request, the retry, the Upgrade handler, and logout.
Why
The app stored the file-size limit at login and only refreshed it from notifications, which are disabled. After a plan change, files that exceeded the old cached limit stayed rejected. The backend is the source of truth, and the core already applies that policy. Linux now supplies the stored values and retries its own uploads when the limit goes up.
Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Uploads rejected for exceeding the file-size limit can be retried after the limit increases. Virtual-drive uploads resume automatically, and affected backups are scheduled again.
After upgrading a plan, the app checks for an updated file-size limit before closing the upgrade window.
Bug Fixes
File-size limit checks apply consistently to virtual-drive and backup uploads, without interrupting backup processing when a file exceeds the limit.
Limit checks time out after 10 seconds instead of waiting indefinitely.
Rejected-upload tracking is cleared when uploads succeed or when you log out.
The change centralizes upload-size checks and rejection handling across virtual-drive and backup uploads. It tracks rejected uploads for retries when a stored limit increases, adds abort signals to limit requests, persists a revalidation timestamp, and connects an upgrade watcher through Electron IPC.

Summary
Persist and fetch file-size limits src/apps/main/config.ts, src/apps/main/config/save-config.ts, src/core/electron/store/*, src/infra/drive-server/*, src/backend/features/user/file-size-limit/get-file-size-limit-adapter.ts, src/backend/features/user/file-size-limit/resolve-user-file-size-limit.ts, src/core/bootstrap/register-session-event-handlers.ts, src/apps/main/realtime.ts, related tests
The store and saved configuration include fileSizeLimitRevalidatedAt. Limit requests accept abort signals. The adapter stores limits and retries rejected uploads when a saved limit increases.
Track and retry rejected uploads src/backend/features/user/file-size-limit/*, src/backend/features/auth/logout.ts, src/backend/features/backup/backup-manager.ts, related tests
Rejected uploads are tracked by path and kind. Retries release virtual-drive files or start backups. Logout stops file-size-limit watching and clears rejection records. The backup scheduler is created on first use.
Use shared size checks in upload paths src/backend/features/backup/upload/*, src/backend/features/virtual-drive/services/operations/write.service.ts, src/context/storage/TemporalFiles/application/upload/TemporalFileUploader.ts, src/context/virtual-drive/files/application/create/CreateFileOnTemporalFileUploaded.ts, related tests, package.json, packages/core
Backup and virtual-drive upload paths use the shared size checker and rejection handler. Successful uploads unregister their rejection records. The local upload-size validator and its tests are removed. The core dependency references are updated.
Connect the upgrade watcher to Electron IPC src/apps/main/file-size-limit/*, src/apps/main/interface.d.ts, src/apps/main/main.ts, src/apps/main/preload.*, src/apps/renderer/pages/MaxFileSizeRejectionModal/index.tsx
The main process registers the watcher handler, the preload bridge exposes it, and the rejection modal invokes it after opening the plans URL.

Explanation
The title follows the conventional commit format and names the main change: file size limit handling and revalidation. The raw summary confirms the changeset adds the file-size-limit adapter, revalidation on rejection, retry of rejected uploads, and the Upgrade watcher. The title is specific and matches the PR objectives, so it passes.
