Senior software engineer and full-stack web developer with a background in computer science and digital media here.
I’ve been building with web technologies for over 20 years now and still try to keep myself up to date with the latest developments in PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
I generally strive to keep things simple and do as much as possible (or practical) with core technologies directly, i.e., using native web components and modern CSS or JavaScript features on the frontend, for example.
I’ve been a core contributor and extension developer for Symphony CMS and Magento in the past, but also worked with TYPO3 and various other platforms and frameworks from both the PHP and the JavaScript ecosystems over the years.
Most recently, I’ve been enjoying working with Kirby CMS for its simplicity, flexibility, and elegant admin panel, so I’ve been developing project scaffolding and some small, pragmatic plugins to fill the gaps and adapt it to my needs.
On the DevOps side, I’m currently working on automated workflows to build Docker Hardened Images for FrankenPHP. These images provide a minimal FrankenPHP build on top of a Docker-hardened base and use the same build process as Docker’s own hardened images.

I also maintain a PHP library that calculates technical indicators for stock trading. The package takes care of arbitrary-precision numbers, keeps an overall low complexity, and is fully unit- and integration-tested.
