Hello, I'm Jill 𓇼 β‹†ο½‘Λš π“†β‹†ο½‘Λš 𓇼 !

I am a Graduate Assistant at Florida Polytechnic University!

I have completed my BS in Computer Science and currently am pursuing a MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Active Projects

  • WeatherApp : A Python weather application using customtkinter and weather data from OpenWeather.

  • Custom MP3 Player : Building an MP3 player; combining hardware + software skills, and creating a custom UI interface.

  • Productivity App : Desktop App that acts as a timer, task logger, and task organizer to assist me with time management.

Completed Highlighted Projects

  • Line-following Robot : A Robot using IR Sensors to follow a line, powered by an STM32 F446RE Nucleo Board. Implements RTOS concepts with task scheduling, mutual exclusion, and real-time data handling. The code base is written in C programming language via the STM32CubeIDE.

  • CV + SVM Psoriasis Detection Model : Python-based Psoriasis detection algorithm combining computer vision feature extraction methods with SVM detection.

About Me

My interests lie in software development, design, robotics programming, and AI applications in the medical field--so a little bit of everything! I'm hoping to improve and learn more about control systems, embedded systems programming, and the EECE AI applications.

I enjoy art, nature, and weight-lifting in my free time. It's always important to enjoy the beauty of life and nature to balance out productivity and fun.
