Hi, I'm jshields-ca (or scootr, if you wish)

I am a creator and technologist dedicated to building compelling digital experiences—from the narratives of sports to the code that powers our digital world. By day, I navigate public communications for the provincial government; by night, I’m an aspiring Full-Stack Engineer architecting a private, open-source ecosystem. Whether I'm in a deep ADHD hyper-focus, or just exploring something new, I thrive on deconstructing complex systems and rebuilding them to be more engaging.
