I design, build and lead production systems where correctness is not optional: banking platforms that move real money, government infrastructure connected to Argentina's Central Bank, and US-facing SaaS products serving thousands of users and 160+ venues nationwide.
My background spans Spanish banking groups (BBVA, Santander), Canadian banking (Scotiabank), Argentina's largest payment processor, provincial government, a Fortune 500 healthcare company (GE HealthCare) and a portfolio of US clients in telematics, e-commerce, ticketing, media and aviation.
I work as a hands-on Tech Lead: architecture decisions, backend and DevOps ownership, code review, mentoring, and direct communication with clients and stakeholders in English. I am comfortable owning a system end to end, from data model and infrastructure to production incident response, and I bring the discipline of regulated environments (security, compliance, auditability) to every project.

Backend, DevOps and tech lead work across regulated US products in three federally supervised industries: commercial trucking (DOT and FMCSA, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), firearms retail (FFL, Federal Firearms License holders regulated by the ATF) and aviation (FAA, Federal Aviation Administration).
Fleet telematics and DOT compliance SaaS. Owner of the maintenance backend domain: work orders, scheduled maintenance, DVIR inspection reports, issue lifecycle state machines. Built a fleet-wide dashcam certification system with forensic logging and the video clip request API. Led the FMCSA compliance scope and evidence-retention analysis. Found and closed a cross-tenant authorization defect. Telematics device and MDM hardware integrations over the message bus. Hundreds of fleets, thousands of tracked vehicles, around 5,000 devices reporting telemetry.
Regulated firearms e-commerce (FFL dealers). Catalogue integration with a top US distributor (tens of thousands of SKUs), FFL verification and transfer-authorization workflow, MAP pricing, payment, shipping and JWT integrations, 40-plugin stack audit.
FAA examiner platform (Designated Pilot Examiners, the FAA-authorized examiners who conduct pilot checkrides). Tech lead from MVP to production for a six-developer team. Architecture, AWS deployment (EC2, nginx, TLS, Docker Compose across dev, staging and production, DNS, Stripe, transactional email), backend, React Native mobile and Figma-to-code frontend.
Cross-project. Production incident war rooms, root cause analysis in unfamiliar codebases, internal tooling (Python certification harness, Selenium automation, issue-tracker CLI).

Stayed through the acquisition by CTS Eventim, the world's second-largest ticketing group, working with teams in Germany.
FLYING Media Group, now Firecrown. Solo engineer on the high-traffic news site of the most recognized aviation magazine in the US. Cut page load from 15 seconds to under 500 milliseconds with New Relic profiling, Redis Object Cache, OPcache, SQL Monitor and query tuning.

Scotiabank is one of Canada's five largest banks and one of the most international banks in the Americas. Migration of a legacy Java monolith to Spring Boot microservices with a modular React frontend for personal and corporate guarantee workflows, with adapters to COBOL core-banking services. Designed and built the guarantee-domain microservices: REST contracts, OpenAPI documentation, unit and integration tests, COBOL adapters. Multiple microservices per day at peak. Domain migration completed within the three-month window. Invited to the follow-on initiative for the Chilean operation. Worked under the bank's security program: OWASP Top 10, secure coding standards, review gates.
