Define application contracts once. Generate the boring parts everywhere.
Kalo is an open, specification-driven toolchain for keeping data models, APIs, persistence, SDKs, UI scaffolding, and tests aligned across a polyglot stack.

- Types and validation: Go structs, TypeScript types, Python/Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL types, and Zod schemas.
- APIs and SDKs: OpenAPI generation, validation, documentation, mock servers, and typed Go/TypeScript clients.
- Persistence: MorpheRepo contracts, Go repository interfaces, pgx implementations, migrations, seed data, and database introspection.
- UI and tests: React + shadcn/ui scaffolding, UI bindings, Playwright generation, HTTP checks, and data checks.
- AI context: compact, structured context derived from Morphe and OpenAPI sources.
Browse the organization repositories by the spec-, standard-, and plugin- prefixes to compose a toolchain.
- Language-neutral contracts are the source of truth.
- Generators are small, explicit, and composable.
- Generated code should be inspectable and replaceable.
- Interfaces stay open so commercial tooling can grow around a useful OSS core.
Kalo is early-stage and actively evolving. The public specifications and plugins are ready for exploration and contribution, but some interfaces may still change before stable versioning.
