Usage in this repo

All AWS SDK usage lives in internal/aws/aws.go and exercises only stable, long-standing APIs:

  • ECS — ListClusters / DescribeClusters / ListServices / DescribeServices / ListTasks / DescribeTasks (aws.go:580-762)
  • S3 — ListObjectsV2 paginator + transfermanager.DownloadObject (aws.go:495-564)
  • Lambda — ListFunctions / GetFunctionConfiguration (aws.go:233-335)

None of these signatures changed in the bumped versions; the interfaces (S3ListAPI, S3DownloadAPI, LambdaClient, ECSClient) are internal wrappers, so no impact. google.golang.org/api is used only for GCR/GCP-adjacent flows and gets additive regen.

Recommended follow-up checks

  • Confirm CI passes go build ./... and the internal/aws contract tests (ecs_services_test.go, s3_contract_test.go, lambda_contract_test.go) — I could not run the build here (sandbox blocks module download).
  • The smithy-go JSON serialization fix ("don't serialize unset docs as nil") is worth a mental note if any AWS response parsing is snapshot-tested, but no such fixtures were found in the AWS paths.

I couldn't execute go build/go vet in this environment (network/approval restriction) — please rely on the PR's CI for the compile/test gate.
