This pull request refactors how user-facing messages are handled across the CLI, compiler, deploy, and doctor modules. It replaces the previous custom
styled/Styleformatting and directeprintln!/println!calls with structured logging using thetracingcrate and selectively uses colored output for final user messages. The changes also improve consistency and testability by centralizing message emission, and streamline the CLI output logic.CLI Output and Logging Refactor
Replaced most direct
eprintln!/println!and customstyledformatting withtracingmacros (info!,warn!,error!) for structured logging throughoutsrc/cli.rs,src/core/compiler.rs,src/core/deploy.rs, andsrc/core/doctor.rs. Success messages at the end of commands now use colored output with thecoloredcrate for better user visibility. [1] [2] [3] [4]Centralized result reporting in the compiler and doctor modules by replacing
.print()and.to_lines()with.emit(), which logs information and errors instead of printing directly. This makes it easier to test and maintain output logic. [1] [2]CLI Command Behavior Changes
Improved CLI user experience by providing clear, colored completion messages (e.g., "Build complete", "Deploy complete", "Status complete") and using
info!for status and result reporting. Project initialization, build, deploy, doctor, login, upgrade, and rollback commands now have more consistent and visible output. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]Simplified status reporting by delegating to a new
project::print_statusfunction and using logging for status headers, instead of printing each field individually with custom formatting.User Input Handling Improvements
print!and flush stdout to display prompts correctly, rather thaneprint!, which could be hidden in some environments. [1] [2] [3]Error and Warning Reporting
error!andwarn!, improving visibility and consistency in both interactive and log-based usage. [1] [2] [3]Miscellaneous
These changes make the CLI output more consistent, user-friendly, and suitable for both interactive use and automated logging.
