• `src/agents/`: one `CommandExecutor` plus `claude` and `codex` presets; `agents` and `stages` config, validated at boot. Claude argv is pinned byte for byte to v2.4.0.
• Any file-writing CLI works with no adapter (stage skill plus artifact contract on stdin or `{{promptFile}}`); runner credentials and repo `GIT_*` stripped.
• Machinist usage semantics (last terminal event wins, malformed = not reported), bounded event log, process-group kill, post-kill pipe deadline.
• Structured verdict findings, self-contradicting `pass` refused, 16 KiB step-result cap, `gate.json` evidence tied to the tree hash.
• `factory doctor` checks each agent in use.

Left out

Gemini, OpenCode, Pi, omp, Mastra Code, Amp presets (v2.6.0). Live Codex run pending credentials (tasks #18-#21).

Verification

`make check` green (zero failures); revert-and-fail confirmed for the verdict check and the Claude argv snapshot; verifier agent run, its defects (setsid pipe hang, shell `{{prompt}}`, empty executable, doctor default) fixed with tests. Known residual: a preset-less agent inherits the environment until the v3.0 sandbox.
