Senior software engineer. I take a system from the interface to production, and keep it running there.

Product frontends, backend services, data platforms, and the infrastructure all of it runs on. I have worked every one of those layers, which is why I can carry a feature end to end instead of handing it over at each boundary. The current focus is the backend and the full infrastructure behind the Circles protocol at Gnosis: four services written from the first commit, thirty-eight Ansible roles deploying blockchain nodes and PostgreSQL with automated failover, and the observability stack over the top.
Alongside that I ship privacy-first apps on one rule: data stays on the user's device, and any AI feature runs against a local model or a key you bring yourself. No telemetry, no lock-in.

TobiBoard is released and open source. The rest are in private testing. More on each at leinss.xyz.
I also run Leinss Consulting, building web products and process automation for small businesses.
Earlier: web3 and hackathons
Much of my earlier work was on Ethereum, built at hackathons. Projects I helped ship won prizes from the Ethereum Foundation, ENS, The Graph and Optimism. A few highlights:
- zkPaymaster, a private ZK account-abstraction paymaster contract · EF Best ERC-4337, ETHGlobal Paris
- Peer'n Pay, a peer-to-peer Ethereum payments dapp · ENS Integration Prize, ETHGlobal HackFS
- Turtleshell, on-chain smart-contract security data · The Graph Best Subgraphs, EthPrague
- Caffeine Consensus, account-abstraction contracts and X.509 PKI for gasless enterprise transactions · 2nd place, EthZurich
Blockchain is not history, though: it is what the current role runs on.
