LocalRAG! is free to start. Paid plans are available in the app.
Original files, extracted text, and the search index remain on the device. In Local AI mode, document content, questions, and answers stay on-device. In Claude mode, the question and retrieved excerpts are sent to Claude to generate an answer; the original file is not uploaded.
The app sends anonymous usage statistics that do not include file contents, question text, or answer text. See the Privacy Policy for the fields and retention details. LocalRAG! does not claim GDPR or HIPAA certification; organizations should evaluate their own requirements and configuration.
