(Also known in realspace as Luciano Laje).
Software engineer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, working as an AI Engineer โ building software with AI assistance, learning with it, and shipping on that footing. Working professionally since 2016, through consulting firms including Accenture and Globant.
๐ญ Currently at Mercado Libre (MELI), researching and developing GenAI initiatives and tooling enablement for development acceleration.
- Python โ most of what I write now, at work and outside it. Still shedding Java habits.
- C/C++ โ tooling, scripting, CLI work, and the lower-level side of AI engineering.
- Swift/SwiftUI โ learning it, aiming to ship my own software for Apple platforms.
I work with AI assistance across all of it. In these three I keep it on a short leash: I want to understand every line that ships. Outside them, when a project genuinely needs something else, I lean on it harder. Java is where I have the most mileage, and it still comes out when it's the right tool for the job.
Most of my public work is Claude Code and Codex tooling โ design systems, an instructor, repo automation, local-model strategy โ distributed through two marketplaces:
- lux-solari-plugins โ the Claude Code catalog
- lux-solari-codex-plugins โ the Codex catalog
A few of the individual pieces:
| three-axes-framework | Calibrates agent behavior across Mastery, Consequence and Intent, so it doesn't produce past my understanding |
| tri-swiss ยท lux-swiss | Two sibling house-mark design systems โ related governance, distinct palettes |
| sage-instructor | Adaptive programming instructor with structured courses and verifiable exercises |
| hannah | Repo analysis plus hardware-aware local model recommendations |
| claude-trip-computer | Real-time cost and telemetry for Claude Code sessions |
| whiting | Wires a repo's CHANGELOG.md to GitHub Releases on a version tag |
I write about the craft โ and about whatever else is in the way โ at luxsolari.is-a.dev.
Analog and digital, taken seriously. I shoot 35mm, develop my own rolls, mix my own black-and-white chemistry, and make copy prints in a home darkroom. Colour gets developed and scanned. Digital is Fujifilm, edited toward classic film looks.

Ranked, narrative games, RPGs, sim racing. A good share of my analogies come from here.
