An iOS app for recording car conversations. Blabber listens continuously but only captures speech — silence is automatically skipped. Each session is named after the location where it was recorded.
- Voice activity detection — records only when speech is detected; silence is discarded
- Location-named sessions — each recording is automatically labeled with the reverse-geocoded location
- Live mic level meter — real-time level indicator with adjustable sensitivity threshold while recording
- Video capture — front-camera preview overlaid on the app icon when idle; cinematic extended stabilization for smooth footage on bumpy roads; video is merged with audio in post-processing
- iCloud sync — recordings are stored in iCloud and available across devices
- Playback with scrubbing — review recordings with a full playback interface including waveform scrubber
- Save to Photos — export video recordings to the Photos library with one tap
- Portrait only — orientation is fixed to portrait to prevent layout disruption
