Conversation
Claude's skill upload rejects a SKILL.md whose frontmatter description contains XML-like tags, and ours said <iso-gram>. Write it as plain iso-gram, and test that name and description have no < or >. What and why
Installing
isogram.skillfailed with "description cannot contain XML": the SKILL.md frontmatter description said<iso-gram>, and Claude's skill validator reads angle brackets there as a tag. The description now says "a drop-in iso-gram web component". The body of SKILL.md still uses<iso-gram>, which the validator doesn't check.SKILL.mdis the only file with skill frontmatter, andisogram.skillisn't committed:npm run buildandnpm run sitezip it fromSKILL.md, so the next deploy serves the fixed package from getisogram.com.The frontmatter test in
test/skill.test.mjsnow fails ifnameordescriptioncontains<or>, so CI blocks it from coming back. How it was checked
npm test(13 pass). I put<iso-gram>back in to check the new assertion fails on it.npm run buildandnpm run site: theSKILL.mdinside bothdist/isogram.skillanddist/site/isogram.skillhas no<iso-gram>in its descriptionSKILL.mdandreferences/updated if the API or the workflow changed: n/aGenerated by Claude Code
