The build uses only Node.js built-in modules. The CSS source is intentionally plain CSS (kept in src/sass/modesto.scss for backward-compatible project structure), so no Sass compiler, PostCSS plugin, file watcher, or development server dependency is required.
npm run develop
Build and serve the site at localhost:1337. Run the command again after editing a file.
npm run build
Copy the static site and generate the regular and minified CSS files for production.
Use this as the "Publish command" if needed by hosting such as Netlify.
npm run dist
Replaces
__VERSION__string inside html and css file for the version from package.json file, generates the CSS files and copy them into the root of the project.
In order publish a new version and documentation:
- Change the
versioninside thepackage.json.
$ npm run dist
$ git add .
$ git commit -m ...
$ git push origin master
$ npm publish
