Word Strike is a browser-based word guessing game set in a cosmic theme. Guess hidden words letter by letter, earn points, unlock badges, climb the leaderboard, challenge yourself in Time Attack mode, and play live against friends anywhere in the world.
Built entirely with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks, no build tools. Just open and play.

- Enter your name and choose an avatar
- Pick a challenge from the menu — solo modes or challenge a friend
- Type your guess — same number of letters as the hidden word
- Read the colors:
- 🟢 Green — Correct letter, correct position
- 🟡 Yellow — Correct letter, wrong position
- ⚫ Gray — Letter not in the word
- Solve the word — unlimited tries, but fewer tries = more points
- Earn coins, unlock badges, climb the leaderboard

Challenge friends in real time:
- Open the Friends menu and click Challenge on any online friend
- Or create a session and share the 6-character code with them
- Both players see the same words and race to solve them first
- When both finish, results appear side by side
You can also use Invite a Friend to send a direct invitation that pops up as a notification — accept it to jump straight into the game.
