platform-objects in ar, fr, pt-BR, ru, de and ko, one PR per locale (the seat's ruling B). Each PR opens only after the previous one lands.
The final PR moves the root pnpm i18n:extract --locales and scripts/check-i18n-bundles.mjs to the platform locale table (PLATFORM_LOCALES) and carries Fixes #30512. Every earlier PR says Part of #30512.

What is parked, and where

Everything below is in the project files under server-lane-seat1/30512/handoff/. The container branch that held it will not survive this session.

ar: done but not opened. ar-2671d677-on-e8d9055e.patch is commit 2671d677, cut on the zh-Hant head e8d9055e. git apply --check applies it cleanly on today's main (bcf8a37e08, after i18n(platform-objects): ship the platform objects, Setup, Studio and Account in zh-Hant #30951's squash). At 2671d677 the lock run passed (platform-objects 1681 tests; plugin-security, plugin-approvals, service-settings and the cli page-parity test all green), and all 63 derived gates exited 0 (gates-ran-po-ar-2671d677.txt). The 9 extra commands and the 56-command docs & code guards lane were not run for ar. The PR body draft is po/pr-po-ar-body.draft.md inside the tarball.
- Before opening ar, it must gain the four keys feat(console): put Connect an AI Assistant where each person looks, and call it that #30935 added after it was cut (see the first trap below). Suggested wording, matching ui/packages/i18n ar: grp_account_ai_assistant = «مساعد الذكاء الاصطناعي»; both nav_connect_agent and pages.connect_agent.label = «ربط مساعد ذكاء اصطناعي».
fr: translated, not in the repo. The tarball holds po/loc/fr/00..17.tsv (every generated leaf), po/loc/fr/inline.json (the inline page maps), po/out-fr/fr.ts (the hand bundle draft) and po/entries-fr.json. It too still needs the four feat(console): put Connect an AI Assistant where each person looks, and call it that #30935 keys (ui/packages/i18n fr: «Assistant IA», «Connecter un assistant IA»).
pt-BR, ru, de, ko: work lists only (po/loc/<locale>-work.json and -chunks.json). po/ui-ai-assistant-wording.txt lists the UI package's wording for the feat(console): put Connect an AI Assistant where each person looks, and call it that #30935 keys in each locale.
Generators: po-scratch-generators-and-data.tgz. In pipeline order:
1. mkwork.py builds the work list and chunks;
2. showchunk.py and loccheck.py help with review;
3. gen-loc.py turns the translated TSVs into an entries file;
4. write-gen-loc.mts writes the generated bundles;
5. write-hashes-loc.mts writes the hand-bundle hashes;
6. write-hand-loc.py / write-hand-loc-ar-tpl.py write the hand bundle;
7. inline-loc2.py (dict key prevKey files…) fills the 42 inline maps;
8. lint-loc.py runs the per-leaf mechanical lint against en;
9. ar-commas.py normalizes the Arabic comma (ar only).
- Also in the tarball: zhhant.py and gen-zhhant.py, the zh-Hant path (OpenCC s2twp plus the house glossary). Next to the tarball are the gate lists cmds-po-extra.txt, cmds-docs-guards-run.txt and run-gates.sh.

Traps a successor needs

New keys on main after the cut. i18n(platform-objects): ship the platform objects, Setup, Studio and Account in zh-Hant #30951 was ejected from the merge queue (run 42234781774, app-nav-translation-parity) because feat(console): put Connect an AI Assistant where each person looks, and call it that #30935 landed after its base. feat(console): put Connect an AI Assistant where each person looks, and call it that #30935 added the Account group grp_account_ai_assistant, renamed both nav_connect_agent entries and pages.connect_agent to "Connect an AI Assistant" (source hash a4542422fb5e8a68; the group's is cff764b13822a259), and moved the Setup entry behind System Overview. The fix was a plain merge of origin/main plus the four keys (d104e2b4). Before each locale PR, diff main's platform-objects en.ts and *.source-hashes.ts since the parked base (main has touched six more platform-objects files since i18n(platform-objects): ship the platform objects, Setup, Studio and Account in zh-Hant #30951 alone).
Every place a new locale touches:
- the extract config docstring --locales and its translations: baseline;
- setup.translation.ts, the apps barrel and metadata-translations/index.ts;
- the 42 inline maps: sys-user.page.ts (35), sys-organization.page.ts (6) and the system.datasets.ts null label (1);
- the locale lists in 19 platform-objects tests, plus the plugin-security nav test, the plugin-approvals vocabulary test and the service-settings hub-parity test.
Cross-package wording pins:
- nav_account_approvals must equal plugin-approvals' my_pending label;
- nav_assignment_rules must equal i18n(plugin-sharing): ship the assignment rule object in all eleven platform languages #30856's object name;
- each nav_settings_* must equal its service-settings hub title from i18n(service-settings): ship the built-in settings pages in zh-Hant, ar, fr and pt-BR #30870.
Whole-tree build first. check-i18n-bundles --write needs the whole tree built. Run it with an 8 GB heap: NODE_OPTIONS=--max-old-space-size=8192.
Derived gates miss one check. check-cli-command-ids is not among them, and a string opening with os and a lowercase word goes red (the pt-BR article). Run the whole "Lint · docs & code guards" lane before each PR.
Commit messages. The pre-push check:commit-card-trailers refuses Part of #N in a commit message, so keep it in the PR body.
Merging and branches. Each PR is over 3000 lines with its generated bundles, so it needs contract review and a human merge. A squash merge deletes the remote branch, so cut the next PR fresh from main.
Arabic only. A list made only of Latin identifiers takes the Arabic comma (a، b، c), never a glued proclitic و. Two translation-memory context traps: Position (add-record button) is الموضع, and a hook's Body is المتن.
