Open control for the equipment a remote site already has. Solar, batteries, generators, pumps and sensors from different makers, in one view, with the decisions made locally by a controller that keeps working when the link is down.
The project is a controller board and its firmware, the KM43 protocol that devices and clients share, the Offgrid app, and Buddy, an assistant that helps identify equipment and understand what it reports. It is in development: the hardware is at its first revision and nothing here is a validated product.
| Repository | What it holds |
|---|---|
| hardware | The controller and generator boards and the enclosure: EasyEDA sources, dated fabrication exports, the Gerber check. |
| camera | The trail camera on a Wi-Fi HaLow mesh: concept, circuit, layout rules and the first copper. |
| brand | The identity and the Buddy character, published as @origin89/brand. The brand kit and the design guide are on its releases. |
