LockInTube is a simple extension that eliminates YouTube's addictive distractions such as Shorts, recommendations, and comments so you can stay focused and get things done.
No paywall, no sign-up, just install and use!
- Hide all distractions from YouTube, including:
- Recommended videos
- Shorts
- Comments
- Sidebar videos
- End screen videos
- Playables
- AI features
- Play Shorts as normal videos without the Shorts interface
- Disable Playables feature
- Customize your left navigation bar with the necessary links
Prerequisites:
Run the following commands:
bun install
bun run build
Two separate builds for Chrome and Firefox can now be found at dist/chrome and dist/firefox. Zip files for the two builds are also created.
