Google's files collection now writes: Create files makes folders, documents (uploaded as Markdown) and spreadsheets (uploaded as CSV) in My Drive, a folder or a shared drive, and appends rows to a tab under its headers; Edit files renames files and tabs, replaces a document's content whole (dropping its comments and suggestions, as the catalog and docs say) and changes a row only in the cells written differently; Move files to Trash trashes files and folders, never files.delete. A new run-only ranges collection, like the databases' queries, reads (read-only, Read files) and writes (Edit files) a range in A1 notation as CSV, taking a spreadsheet's id or link, the range checked against a strict pattern before it reaches Google. The files kind select is no longer system, so a create says what to make and an edit refuses to change it; every files action takes the drive scope, and google-connector.ts now runs a command on the collection it was run on, since emails and files both have trash.

Verified live against a real account: a folder "Personal Agent Proxy test 2026-10-13" made in My Drive; inside it a Doc from Markdown (read back as Markdown, table and curly quote intact) and a Sheet from CSV; a row appended under the headers and edited; a range written through the spreadsheet's link with a formula (answered evaluated) and read back through its id; the Doc renamed and its content replaced; then the folder moved to Trash through the trash command. Refusals (unknown header, a bad tab, a spreadsheet or Recent as parent) came back as validation errors, Google's own words for the range. A token downscoped to drive alone passed Google's scope check on Sheets values.update and batchUpdate and Drive files.update and media upload, where gmail.send alone got 403.
