Summary

Resolve the vulnerable frontend npm packages so the Dependency gates check passes. These advisories exist on develop today and block every open pull request from merging.

Why

Closes #21. The gate reports a production body-parser high plus undici, fast-uri and ip-address advisories; all PRs are blocked until develop is clean.

Changes

  • npm audit fix bumps the patched body-parser (production high, GHSA-27r3-jxmh-p828 — DoS), fast-uri and ip-address — no major bumps.
  • Two non-breaking overrides pin the remaining build-time advisories without downgrading the toolchain (the only fix npm offered was a breaking @angular/build → v20 / typography downgrade):
    • undici → 7.30.1 (above all three advisory ceilings <7.30.1, within 7.x, under @angular/build).
    • postcss-selector-parser → 6.1.5 (advisory range <6.1.5, within 6.x).
  • Remove the stale braces allowlist entry — the advisory is no longer reported by npm audit, so the gate's stale-entry check requires dropping it.

These are real fixes, not allowlist acceptances: the gate now reports 0 accepted exceptions and npm audit finds 0 vulnerabilities, production and full.

Checklist

  • This pull request is linked to an issue (Closes #21 above)
  • The pull request targets develop and is about one thing

  • CI is green (backend tests, frontend build and tests, dependency gate)
  • Schema changes are EF Core migrations generated by the tool, not hand-edited (none)
  • A changed backend DTO has its TypeScript twin updated (none)
  • New dependencies are justified and their lock files are updated in the same commit
  • No secrets, tokens or personal data in code, logs or this description
  • Code comments are kept to a minimum; the reasoning lives in this description

npm audit fix bumps the patched body-parser (prod high, GHSA-27r3-jxmh-p828),
fast-uri and ip-address. Two non-breaking overrides pin the remaining
build-time advisories without downgrading the toolchain: undici 7.30.1
(above all three advisory ceilings, under @angular/build) and
postcss-selector-parser 6.1.5 (advisory <6.1.5). npm audit reports 0
vulnerabilities, production and full.

The braces advisory is no longer reported by npm audit (the full audit
covers dev dependencies and finds nothing), so the exception is stale and
the gate's stale-entry check requires removing it.
