`bender` segfaults on Arch linux

The prebuilt bender-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu binary (v0.32.1) segfaults during dynamic-linker initialization, before main, on Arch Linux. Even bender --version crashes.
Steps to reproduce, run Arch install via curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 https://pulp-platform.github.io/bender/init -sSf | sh

Thanks for filling the issue. It seems to be related to the mimalloc library which is linked by slang. The issue might be related to: microsoft/mimalloc#1341, which was fixed in its newest release. However, the slang version we pin still has the old version. Eventually, we will bump it once slang releases a new version. In the meantime, a workaround would be to build bender from source without the slang features:

cargo install bender --locked --no-default-features

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed with a with a toolchain version >=1.89.0.

I could also root-cause this to mimalloc, the mimalloc free symbol seems to be mis-used by std library calls. Thanks
