It seems like early on in Coop issue triage we were excited to use sub-issues, but more often than not the parent issue ends up being half-duplicated by the child issues. I'd recommend we document to avoid using parent/child issues unless the parent issue is very clearly a large task that's being explicitly broken down into many sub-tasks. But if there's just one or two closely-related sub-tasks, I don't think it's worth it.
