   You can set append-only in the config, if that's not what you meant, please clarify.

   Was more wondering if this repo is suitable for use, as the readme has a warning about being unfinished and the last commit was 2 years ago. If its abandoned, is there another backend for rustic that supports append only?

   @gabevenberg you can use rustic in combination with restic's rest server. Rustic-server implements the same API.

   Or you find a cloud service provider which offers this ability, e.g. by ACLs or some locking mechanism.

   Thank you, didnt realize the REST API was the same as restic-server.
