I'm not going to merge this through the PR UI. I'm working on reviewing and merging these patching into master locally. I just got through the first chunk, but there are still a bunch more to wade through. Hopefully with these guys merged in the vterm part of this crate will be mostly finished and we can move on to fixing long standing shpool issues like kitty control code detection for keybinding support. |

This is a stack of patches that resulted from me pointing opus 5.5 at this repo and saying "finish it." It's a giant wad of code and it will take some effort to review and merge everything in.
