Summary

Move the macOS release check from macos-15 to Apple Silicon xcode-27, retaining the explicit macOS 13 deployment target and binary minimum-OS gate. Both Darwin binaries now run in CI; Intel execution uses asserted/installed Rosetta.

Advance the repo-local shared release workflow pin to v1.11.8, which supplies Xcode 27/Rosetta verification, and expose a safe-default, non-publishing dry_run. No shared workflow source is changed. Update release/contributor documentation and Unreleased notes.

Build with patched Go 1.27.2: the old Go 1.27.1 scan reproduced eight reachable standard-library vulnerabilities. Keep the Go 1.27.0 source minimum and existing required check names; test (1.27.1) intentionally labels the patched compiler to preserve branch protection. Include four existing formatter-only corrections discovered by the documented format check.

Validation

  • Crabbox: format, build, full tests (75.3% coverage), lint, vet, and govulncheck ./... passed with no vulnerabilities.
  • Docker build plus CLI, Node, npm, and Playwright-directory smoke passed.
  • Actionlint, GoReleaser configuration, release metadata, and both deployment-target regression tests passed.
  • Independent Codex review through P2.

After merging: verify main CI and dispatch only a release dry run for current version 0.2.1. No release, tag, version bump, or manual deployment.
