Right now I'm building Aska, a visual workspace for saving and organizing images, links, notes, and references.
Aska is built around an infinite canvas for organizing visual references into collections and folders.
Some of the stuff behind it:
- React + XYFlow for the canvas
- Bun + Hono API
- Postgres + Drizzle
- S3, SQS and Lambda for media and background processing
- color-based image search
- background metadata fetching for saved links
I'm also planning to add real-time multiplayer collaboration, so multiple people can work on the same canvas together.
