Updates defuddle from 0.19.3 to 0.19.5

Release notes

Sourced from defuddle's releases.

0.19.5

  • Hardened Markdown escaping for links, images, footnotes, callouts, code blocks, and math, preventing page content from becoming unintended markup or unsafe links (#396).
  • Fixed lazy-loaded images using explicit source attributes, preventing filenames and unrelated metadata from replacing image URLs (#388).
  • Preserved screen-reader text, including mixed numbers and link labels, while removing redundant link annotations (#390).
  • Fixed extraction on pages with special characters in IDs and classes, including Tailwind classes and React streaming content. Kept generated selectors stable after shadow DOM and streamed-content changes (#392).
  • Fixed whole-page fallbacks overriding successfully extracted content during retries, and allowed async extractors to run before falling back to the page body (#358).
  • Added caught extraction errors to debug.errors and automatic content detection when contentSelector is invalid (#358).
  • Shared math processing between core and full builds, fixed element creation in cloned documents, and added direct tests for both variants.
  • Removed unused code and added unused-code checks to CI.

0.19.4

  • Fixed metadata and content extraction inconsistencies between linkedom and JSDOM, including missing site names and dates removed from email headers.
  • Fixed lowercase heading serialization with linkedom.
  • Fixed backticks escaped inside code blocks and fences ending prematurely (#359).
  • Fixed unwanted spaces around inline code, superscripts, subscripts, typographic quotes, and dashes (#379, #364).
  • Preserved MathML in arXiv equation tables (#376) and made the MathML converter a required dependency (#385).
  • Preserved declarative shadow DOM content.
  • Fixed YouTube transcript selection to prefer the default caption language over translations (#370).
  • Fixed the CLI hanging after failed fetches.
  • Hardened HTML sanitization for templates and unsafe content roots, and escaped C2 wiki source.
  • Updated dependencies and added JSDOM coverage to CI.

Updates oxlint-tailwindcss from 1.11.0 to 1.16.0

Release notes

Sourced from oxlint-tailwindcss's releases.

v1.16.0

enforce-consistent-line-wrapping can now wrap every class string the way eslint-plugin-better-tailwindcss does, JS strings included. The docs also gain a migration guide for eslint-plugin-tailwindcss, the most-used Tailwind lint plugin. Nothing changes with the same config.

Features

  • enforce-consistent-line-wrapping wraps JS strings too, with wrapStrings: "all" (#216, #232). A class string that has to wrap in cn("…"), className={"…"}, an array, a cva / tv value, a ternary or && branch, or a variable's value becomes a template literal with the block layout, as eslint-plugin-better-tailwindcss does, and a JSX attribute's own string is still wrapped in place. An object key, a + operand, and a string holding an escape sequence, a backtick or ${ keep reporting without a fix. It's opt-in because the string's value gains the newlines and the indentation; "jsx" and the default "never" are unchanged. If oxfmt sorts your classes, set its preserveWhitespace: true, or it puts the template back on one line.

Documentation

  • Migrating from eslint-plugin-tailwindcss (#233). A guide like the better-tailwindcss one: eslint-plugin-tailwindcss 4.4.0's 9 rules and its settings mapped to this plugin's, what differs, and the switch from an ESLint config to .oxlintrc.json. Every row's example is checked every week, against the pinned version and the latest one.

v1.15.1

enforce-canonical rewrites a class only when its canonical form prints the same CSS, and it compared the two with the class's own name blanked out only where that name opened the selector. Several variants put it elsewhere, so their rewrites were never reported. Tailwind's next release moves every group-* and peer-* class inside its :is() (tailwindlabs/tailwindcss#20513), which would have silenced the rule under those variants the day it shipped, before you upgrade this plugin. This release finds the class wherever its selector puts it.

Before you upgrade

  • Reports that can appear with the same config: enforce-canonical on classes under in-*, *: and **:, and on divide-* with an arbitrary value: in-focus:z-[10] → in-focus:z-10, *:z-[10] → *:z-10, divide-x-[2px] → divide-x-2, with their autofix. On shadcn/ui's apps/v4 nothing changes.

Bug fixes

  • enforce-canonical finds a class wherever its selector puts it (#228). in-* prints :where(:focus) .x, *: and **: print :is(.x > *), divide-* prints :where(.x > :not(:last-child)), and after Tailwind 4.3.3 every group-* and peer-* prints :is(:where(.group):hover .x). The rule now compares the two forms with the class's own name, escaped the way Tailwind escapes it, blanked out wherever it appears, and every other class in the selector as written, so a canonicalization that changes the selector (has-[:checked]: → has-checked:) is still not made.

With reasoning models and store: true, pruning reasoning (e.g. pruneMessages({ reasoning: 'all' })) caused follow-up requests to fail with "Item 'msg_...' of type 'message' was provided without its required 'reasoning' item". Assistant text parts are now only sent as item references when they are preceded by reasoning in the same assistant message.

Patch Changes

  • fc1e19e: fix: limit jsonl rows to 64mb during batch result downloads

  • 8c0e699: feat(google): preserve file search custom metadata in retrieved context grounding chunks

  • 753f2e1: feat(google): add the 'gemini-nano-banana-2.1' model ID

  • 268225c: feat(provider): add a portable max reasoning level with native provider mappings, compatibility coercions, and budget-based fallback support.

    Compatibility notes:

    • TypeScript source compatibility: Adding max widens LanguageModelV4CallOptions['reasoning'] and the derived ReasoningLevel type. Third-party providers and consumers with exhaustive switches or Record<ReasoningLevel, ...> mappings must handle max before upgrading. Ordinary calls using existing reasoning levels remain accepted.
    • Amazon Bedrock: Existing Nova 2 calls using portable reasoning: 'xhigh' now send maxReasoningEffort: 'high' instead of the unsupported 'max', and return a compatibility warning. Anthropic and OpenAI Bedrock effort mappings retain their existing xhigh behavior. Partial Bedrock reasoning configurations continue to preserve explicit values and derive missing fields; explicit effort/budget overrides and disabled thinking no longer emit warnings for portable mappings that are not sent.
    • Fireworks: Existing portable minimal and xhigh calls keep their request mappings to low and high, respectively, and now return compatibility warnings in generation and streaming results. Portable max maps to high with the same warning behavior.

Release classification: This remains a patch changeset under the repository's explicit release policy, which uses patch releases for both fixes and features. The TypeScript source-compatibility caveat for exhaustive consumers is disclosed above. Maintainers can override this classification with a major label if they decide to align the provider-spec addition with a future AI SDK major release.
