Fractional CTO through Governify, the consultancy I run with Karim H. Attia. I take products from design to prototype to production: the backend of the German digital vaccination pass (350M+ signed certificates, two and a half months from design to production), the Calliope mini classroom microcontroller, a Class II medical device built to run 3–5 years on a single battery.
The source moved to my own git server: got.thinkberg.com. The GitHub copies stay up so links and stars keep working, but the history lives on infrastructure I run myself, like my website and my Mastodon instance.
The recent work is not here either. It happened in company repos (UBIRCH, Calliope mini) and client repos, where most of it stays. That is the arrangement I prefer: my clients' names on the results, not mine. One exception is public: the certification APIs of the German digital vaccination pass.
Two of the archives earned their stars the long way: JTA, a Java Telnet/SSH library started in 1996 that ended up in Oracle's server remote management, and SnipSnap, an early Java wiki engine. The one active repo, timebox-evo-notifier, is a current experiment in AI-assisted development.
