Minor, not major: the public API of env is unchanged — what moved is the shape of the transitive dependencies, because Testcontainers 2 renamed its module artifacts. The one case that does break is a consumer declaring org.testcontainers module coordinates itself without a version and relying on env to bring them; that belongs in the release notes. Version bump for the Testcontainers 2.x line, nothing else in the diff.
Minor rather than major: the public API of env is unchanged — classes, constructors and methods stay as they are, and consumer code that imports
io.github.adven27.env.*compiles untouched. What changed is the shape of the transitive dependencies, because Testcontainers 2 renamed every module artifact (postgresqltotestcontainers-postgresqland so on) and the old coordinates are not published at 2.x at all.Worth calling out in the release notes: a consumer that declares
org.testcontainers:<module>itself, without a version, relying on env to bring it, has to rename those coordinates. That is the only breaking case.What the 6.1.0 line carries over 5.6.2:
