  • [✔️ ] Tested with the latest snapshot of BetterModel from Modrinth
  • [ ✔️] Confirmed the issue occurs without other optional/experimental plugins or clients (see Disclaimer below)

🐞 Problem Description

On some animations bones attached to other bones will appear detached (lagging behind) their parent bone. this used to be an issue in MEG as well but is no longer an issue so this should be fixable

🧪 Test Model / Code

Can be easily reproduced by most models, in the attached screenshot I simply have an armor piece attached to the head bone, though I've noticed the issue occur on other bones such as the arm plating, and other models as well, the attached screenshot was simply the easiest to reliably reproduce

🌍 Environment

  • OS: Linux (CachyOS)
  • Server software & version: Purpur 26.2

The following environments are not supported, and issues occurring under these conditions will not be handled:

- Informal / modified launchers (e.g., Feather client)
