Umit Demirtas

I turn infrastructure into software.

VP of Cloud Native Engineering at ANKASOFT. I lead the engineering team that designs event-driven, multi-tenant systems on Kubernetes — and automates the layer underneath them instead of clicking through it.

What I work on

  • Event-driven microservices and multi-tenant SaaS backends — DDD, ADRs, hands-on code review
  • Kubernetes platform engineering — production clusters on AKS/EKS, hybrid control planes joining VMware, AWS and Azure
  • Infrastructure as Code — Terraform and Ansible, version-controlled, no manual provisioning
  • AI-driven automation — agents and orchestration wired into real delivery pipelines, not demos

Where the code is

Most of what I build lives in private repositories: client platforms and products. The public repos here are earlier VMware Aria / vRealize Orchestrator automation work, kept for reference.

What I can show, I write about:
