Installation

Homebrew (Recommended)

hideDot can be installed using Homebrew:

brew install youhide/tap/hidedot

Untrusted tap? Recent Homebrew versions require you to trust third-party taps before the first install. If you see Refusing to load formula ... from untrusted tap, approve the tap once with:

brew trust youhide/tap

Then re-run brew install hidedot. This is a one-time step per machine.

From Source

You can also build from source:

git clone https://github.com/youhide/hideDot.git
cd hideDot
go build -o hidedot ./src

Verify Installation

# Check version
hidedot --version

# Show help
hidedot --help
