Summary
Records attended validation of the Waveshare Box V2 volume fix: clear normal samples across 20–100%, silence at zero, complete clear Fajr playback at 80%, and cold-restart persistence. Replaces the pending status with exact diagnostic/clean application identities, runtime observations and remaining qualification limits.
Hardware impact
Standalone impact
Documents standalone playback, saved settings/history and shared-audio preservation on the tested development firmware.
Testing
Documentation: whitespace, 15 relative links, final diff review after rebasing onto current main, source tree equivalence, and consistency with archived hardware observations and firmware hashes passed.
Hardware: owner-confirmed listening and cold restart on one Box V2 unit; 40 diagnostic telemetry samples and 52 authenticated status polls recorded no unexpected resets, codec/display faults, scheduler faults or failed requests. The report distinguishes diagnostic memory measurements and development acceptance from untested clean-image runtime and the later v0.5.0 production candidate. No new scheduled announcement is claimed.
