Self-host Google Fonts or get consent before loading them.
The new text confirms that index.html loads fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com on every page view, even before login. This sends the user's IP address to Google without consent. German courts ruled this unlawful under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (LG München I, 3 O 17493/20), because self-hosting the fonts is an easy alternative. Disclosing the transfer does not remove that risk.
Self-host Outfit, JetBrains Mono, Syne and Fraunces, for example with @fontsource/*. Then remove the Google preconnect and stylesheet tags from index.html (lines 117-119). After that, remove Google Fonts from this paragraph, from Line 36 and from Line 231.
The cdnjs stylesheets already use referrerpolicy="no-referrer". They still send the IP address to a US provider, so bundle them as well if you can.

Add a legitimate interest for usage statistics and the Discord notification.
These new paragraphs describe usage statistics linked to each account and a Discord message that contains the username and school identifier. The legal-basis paragraph that follows (Lines 215-220) names only one legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f): "sichere und funktionsfähige Bereitstellung der Anwendung". That interest does not cover "Nutzungsstatistik" or "Betreiberbenachrichtigung". Art. 13(1)(d) GDPR requires the policy to name the specific legitimate interest for each purpose.

Document technical log retention.
Section 5 discloses IP addresses, timestamps, requested addresses, and browser information sent to the UI and backend servers. Section 10 states that account deletion does not remove “Betriebsprotokolle”. Section 9 gives a retention period for account-level login and activity data, but not for technical connection data or other operational logs. Confirm the standard backend’s retention policy and document the applicable period or criteria in Section 9. If backups contain these logs, document their retention separately.

The legal pages obscured how the standard backend handles credentials and usage data, while the Impressum contained repetitive responsibility and liability boilerplate. This change gives visitors clearer provider information and data-processing disclosures.

No production build was run, per repository instructions. No production configuration was changed.Describe the operator-stated purposes of measuring userbase size, investigating user-reported issues, and verifying successful access by invited testers. The Discord disclosure explicitly states that notifications fire for every first-seen account. Naming these purposes does not itself establish the necessity of each data transfer.
